Complete the Active Blast.

 

Think about a bike ride you have been on. Where did you go? What did you see, smell or hear? How did it make you feel? 

 

Now complete one of the following tasks to describe your experience: write a short story, write a couple of sentences, create a poster or draw a picture.

Active Blast - All Ages

Join our mountain biker on a speedy journey travelling through forests and trees, over bridges and much more!

 

You'll need a chair for this activity. First learn the moves, and then follow the instructions and enjoy the bike ride!

Discuss the following questions with your grown up and record your answers - you can write sentences, draw a poster or do a video to share with your teacher.

 

Which exercise was the trickiest? Which exercise was your favourite? Can you create other moves that challenge your brain and body? Now challenge other people in your house to do the exercises with you.

Active Blast - All Ages

This 6-minute active blast is all about building a strong mind - you'll do lots of exercises that will challenge your coordination, concentration and motor skills. Have fun!

It's Disco Time!

Think about the moves and complete the following tasks: write down the names of the disco moves. Practice two disco moves of your very own. Create you own disco exercise videos by adding your moves into our routine.

 

Extra Challenge - Perform your routine to the people in your household and create a video to share with your teacher.

Active Blast - Ages 4 to 7

Have lots of fun with this Disco Active Blast - you might even want to put your party clothes on and create your very own disco in your living room!

Active Blast - Ages 7 to 11

It's Disco time - sync your diaries with your friends and arrange a video call so you can all do this 8-minute disco track together!

Strong Hearts

Discuss the following questions with your grown up and record your answers - you can write sentences, draw a poster, create a fact file or do a video to share with your teacher.

 

What happens to your heart when you exercise? Which exercise made your heart beat the quickest? Which exercise was your favourite and your least favourite? Explain your reasons.

Active Blast - Ages 7 to 11

This interval training session will boost your heart rate and reduce brain fog - each activity is designed to raise your heart rate for 20 seconds and then rest for 10 seconds.

 

Give it a go and have lots of fun!

Heart Rate Monitoring - Ages 7-11

Learn how to measure and monitor your own heart rate.

 

Take part in these exercises, and in the rest periods record your heart rate. This will show how fast your heart is beating after you have taken part in different types of exercises.
