Turn daily movement into “how we do things here”
Unlock stronger focus and on-task learning throughout the day
Create calmer classrooms with quicker resets and smoother transitions
Improve wellbeing, confidence and self-regulation for every child
Increase inclusive participation — not just the sporty children
Why movement matters for learning — what activity does for attention, memory and brain development
A whole-school “active mindset” — how to make movement a shared value (not a passing initiative)
Active classroom routines that stick — quick wins for starts of lessons, transitions, resets and brain breaks
Active learning that supports curriculum time — simple strategies to add movement without losing learning time
PLUS: You’ll leave with a bank of practical methods, activities and resources your staff can use immediately, so the change starts the next day, not “sometime next term.”
Whether you want a short, energising staff session — or a deeper model where we help you embed it properly — we’ll tailor the workshop to your priorities and your team.
Workshops can be delivered as 1–2 hour twilight sessions, or as a half/full-day in school, supporting teachers 1:1 and helping translate ideas into real classrooms.

1) Who is this CPD for?
This training is designed for primary teachers, SLT, and PE leads — especially schools who want a consistent, whole-school approach to movement that supports learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
2) Do we need to be an “active school” already?
Not at all. This is ideal if you’re starting from scratch or if you’ve tried a few initiatives but want something more joined-up and sustainable.
3) Will this add more pressure to staff workload?
No, the focus is on low-prep routines and simple strategies that fit into what you already do, so movement becomes a supportive habit rather than another task.
4) What will staff leave with?
Practical ideas you can use immediately: active routines for transitions and resets, inclusive strategies for all children, and whole-school approaches for breaktimes and classroom activity.
5) Can you tailor the session to our priorities?
Yes. We can tailor the workshop around your goals, for example: behaviour and regulation, active learning, improving participation at breaktimes, supporting wellbeing, or strengthening PE and physical literacy.
6) Can I speak to someone before I book?
Absolutely! Book a 30 minute call with our founder Imogen who will take you through your options.
7) Do we need to be using the imoves programme to have this CPD?
No. You can just benefit from our expertise and create your own resources.
